During Hale Farm & Village’s Harvest Festival on October 5, the Hale Harvest 5K benefits InHale, an educational initiative that uses historic and natural resources to develop innovative programs that promote Family & Community Engagement and Health & Wellness.
Hale Harvest 5K at Hale Farm & Village invites runners and walkers to experience the natural beauty of the Cuyahoga Valley! The course is cross country, a beautiful run through the village, sugar bush, pasture and along gravel trails and grass.
Race start is at 9:15 am.
Packet pick-up begins at 7:45 am on the the morning of the race.
All registered participants receive a guest pass to Hale Farm & Village, good for any day of Harvest Festival!
Participation gifts include an artisan-created piece by Hale Farm’s glassblower celebrating our 60th year as a living history museum, a place to learn and share in the story of Ohio’s Western Reserve.
The top three finishers overall and the top male and female finishers per running division listed below receive hand-crafted items from Hale Farm & Village’s early American craft & trade artisans.
Running divisions: 11 & under, 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over.
Harvest Festival at Hale Farm & Village is a fall tradition in northeast Ohio: music and games, treats and fun, cider pressing, apple butter making, 19th century cooking demonstrations, storytelling with Johnny Appleseed, pumpkin painting, wagon rides and more! Our weekend celebration is full of fall fun the whole family will enjoy and takes place rain or shine!
