Saturday, October 24 — Farm Kids: Work, Play & Harvest

Ages 5–8

Sessions are held at 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM, with a maximum of 10 children per session to ensure a quality experience for all attendees.

Being a kid on a 19th-century farm meant there was plenty to do! Children will discover how young people helped their families with everyday farm chores while also finding time for fun.

Through hands-on activities and exploration, participants will try some of the work that was part of everyday life at Hale Farm & Village.

Hands-on activity: Try a historic farm-related task or make a simple take-home project
Story: What was a typical day like for a child on the farm?
Farm visit: Explore a historic building and discover tools, chores and daily activities
Snack: Farm-inspired snack

Program Pricing:

• Members: $8 per child (includes one free adult)

• Non-Members: $10 per child (includes one free adult)

• Additional adults: $5 each
