The leaves are changing, the apples are ripe, and fall is calling! Hale Farm & Village’s Harvest Festival returns October 10–11 and October 17–18, 2026, from 10 AM to 4 PM, bringing the sights, sounds, flavors, and traditions of an Ohio harvest season to life.
Step back in time and experience autumn on a 19th-century farm with historic demonstrations, traditional crafts, farm animals, music, wagon rides, seasonal activities, and more. Watch Hale Farm’s artisans demonstrate skills around the hearth, loom, furnace, kiln, and more, while exploring the historic village and enjoying the fall scenery of the Cuyahoga Valley.
There’s something special happening each weekend! Johnny Appleseed, portrayed by renowned poet and educator Ray McNiece, will visit Hale Farm on October 10 and 17 at 12 PM and 2:30 PM. On October 11 and 18, enjoy wagon rides provided by Trail Light Farms through the historic landscape.
And don’t forget to lace up your running shoes! The Harvest Festival 5K and Kids Donut Dash returns Saturday, October 10 at 9 AM, combining autumn scenery, history, fitness, and—of course—donuts!
Families with young children can also join us for Fun on the Farm on October 17 and 18. Designed for little learners, this special program features age-appropriate activities, hands-on fun, and a fall storytime experience. Advance registration is required for Fun on the Farm.
