In celebration of the Western Reserve Historical Society’s 150^th Anniversary, the Cleveland History Center and Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum will be showcasing Cleveland’s rich automotive history on Saturday, June 24th from 10 am until 4 pm at the Cleveland All-Stars Homecoming Car Show.

A continued tradition of highlighting Cleveland and Northeast Ohio-made vehicles, the car show will take place on the front lawn of the Cleveland History Center in University Circle, Cleveland’s premier cultural neighborhood. The juried show on June 24th will feature Cleveland Made, Cleveland Custom, and Cleveland Racing vehicles, as well as other classic and antique vehicles of historical significance. Join us for the show and other programs throughout the weekend!

View rare and rarely-seen vehicles from the Crawford Auto-Aviation Collection and from personal collections in Ohio, New York, Indiana and Illinois

Any vehicle produced by a Cleveland or Northeast Ohio automobile manufacturer between 1890 and 1932.
White brand motor vehicles up to 1980.
Any vehicle with coachwork by a Cleveland or Northeast Ohio coach building firm.
Any vehicle produced by a non-Northeast Ohio automobile manufacturer, but assembled in a Northeast Ohio facility between 1914 and 1970.

Historically significant CUSTOM and RESTOMOD Vehicles restyled in Northeast Ohio owned shops.

These vehicles must be unique, and not only represent the original, innovative and creative characteristics of their time, but must also be equipped with the original components available during the era of construction.

Historically significant powered vehicles having raced in a Northeast Ohio racing event.

These vehicles must be distinctive to the racing heritage of Northeast Ohio. The vehicle should be an example of the time period of its build, including sponsorship, racing trim and related racing provenance.

Cleveland All Stars is also inviting historically significant vehicles manufactured beyond Cleveland and Northeast Ohio.

All registered vehicle exhibitors receive two complimentary passes to all Cleveland All Stars Kickoff and Daytime Events.

Current Participating Vehicles

1920 Jordan Playboy Roadster – This is the car that Clevelander Edward “Ned” Jordan used to revolutionize automobile advertising, using evocative color advertising such as “Somewhere West of Laramie” to sell his cars instead of the bland fact sheets of his competitors.

1925 White Yellowstone Bus – This 12 passenger bus was one of a fleet of vehicles produced by the White Motor Corporation to carry tourists Yellowstone National Park. White buses were also used at Yosemite National Park and in the Grand Canyon.

1922 Templar A-445 Roadster – Templar of Lakewood, Ohio, produced extremely popular small cars, such as this A-445 roadster. However, a factory fire in 1921 crippled the company, and in 1924 Templar closed its doors.

Take a Ride in History! The vehicles listed below will be available for rides! Visitors may take a ride for $3 per person. Proceeds benefit Cleveland History Center Education and Public Programs.

1942 Willys MB – Willys-Overland of Toledo produced more than 363,000 jeeps during World War II, and Ford produced 280,000 more. If averaged out, a new jeep rolled off an assembly line approximately once every three minutes between 1941 and 1945.

1953 Ford Crestline Sunliner – This two door convertible was the top-of-the-line car offered by Ford in the early 1950s. It is painted to replicate the pace car of the 1953 Indianapolis 500.

1964 Ford Galaxie Convertible – Named to capitalize on the popularity of all things space in the 1950s and 1960s, the Galaxie was Ford’s premiere full-size car in the early 1960s.

1928 Franklin Airman Sedan – The Franklin Automobile Company of Syracuse, New York, produced more than 150,000 technologically innovative cars over its 30-year lifespan. However, like many luxury car manufacturers, Franklin closed down during the Great Depression in the 1930s.
