Serving as the headquarters for the Western Reserve Historical Society, Cleveland History Center houses exhibits that tell the story of Northeast Ohio through items, documents and artifacts.

About Properties

Through the use of the Western Reserve Historical Society’s extensive collections Cleveland History Center provides the public with a much-needed sense of place in today’s mobile society. Each document and artifact tells a story that personally engages individuals, young and old to make these stories come alive. The museum is comprised of the WRHS Library, Cleveland Starts Here sponsored by the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Foundation, Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum, Euclid Beach Park Grand Carousel, Bingham-Hanna Mansion and Garden, Chisholm Halle Costume Wing, Women and Politics sponsored by PNC Bank, Hay-McKinney Mansion, community history galleries, and the CHC Museum Store.

All galleries are connected for a seamless guest experience included for the price of one admission.

Western Reserve Historical Society is the oldest cultural institution in Northeast Ohio, the region's largest American history research center, and one of the leading genealogical research centers in the nation.
