Women's History Month - March 18, 2027
March is Women's History Month, and we'll celebrate by learning about women from Northeast Ohio who contributed to the arts and sciences.
- Ages 3-5 will explore classical music in honor of Adella Prentiss Hughes, who founded the Cleveland Orchestra.
- Ages 6-8 will focus on women explorers – scientists and artists who started their journeys in Cleveland and brought back new knowledge about the world.
- Ages 9-12 will head for the stars, focusing on the women in NASA who helped us go to the moon and beyond!
- Ages 13+ will rock and roll! Through the words of legendary Cleveland rock critic Jane Scott, we’ll focus on building skills in descriptive and persuasive writing.
