Sports in Society - April 15, 2027
We'll end the year with a session on Cleveland's vibrant sports history, as spring and summer bring many reasons to get outside and play!
- Ages 3-5 will focus on sportsmanship and how to be a good teammate.
- Ages 6-8 will learn about the biographies of some of Cleveland’s most important athletes to think about how we tell the stories of people’s lives.
- Ages 9-12 will explore the effects of major sports teams in their local communities. How does having a favorite team help connect people and grow the economy, and what are the potential drawbacks?
- Ages 13+ will look at the history of Cleveland’s stadiums and practice building arguments by looking at current policy issues related to new stadium construction.
