Revisiting the Muse: Art Deco Screen Design and Construction

Muse with Violin is an icon in American Art Deco metalwork crafted in 1930 by Martin Rose and the craftsmen at Rose Iron Works in Cleveland Ohio. In Revisiting the Muse, Bob Rose, Martin's grandson and third generation president of Rose Iron Works, relates the early history and creation of this masterpiece as well as the design and crafting of a 2nd and 3rd screen in 2025. Bob provides backstories and unusual insight, fully illustrated with detailed photographs of all 3 screens and their construction, exemplifying the design and craftsmanship capabilities which distinguish Rose Iron Works as the oldest decorative metal working company in the country still run by the original family.
