Made in Ohio Art & Craft Festival

It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the decision to cancel the 2020 Made in Ohio Art & Craft Festival. It was not an easy decision as we were hoping to find a way to host the festival while following mandatory guidelines established by the State of Ohio. We concluded that there is no way to host this event without bringing large crowds of vendors, guests, employees and volunteers into close proximity.
We recognize the importance of supporting talented and hard-working Ohio makers, especially during this economic crisis. However, we must prioritize the health and safety of you – our trusted partners – guests, volunteers and staff. With 14,000 attendees at Hale Farm & Village during the Made in Ohio Art & Craft Festival, this would not be possible.
Thank you, vendors, for all you do to make the Made in Ohio Festival successful. You are like family to us and we are sad that we won’t be seeing you this Labor Day weekend. We are already looking ahead to a successful 2021 Festival!

On September 4, 5 & 6  join us for  Made in Ohio Art & Craft Festival. This  juried festival features over 160 Ohio artisans, local food, entertainment and all that Hale Farm & Village has to offer. Vendors include jewelry artists, potters, woodworkers, glass artists, soap and lotion makers, quilters and a variety of unique artisans. Celebrate Ohio! Enjoy history, shopping and eating while celebrating our great state!

 Ohio Wine and Beer will also be available.

The Hale Café will be offering a selection of sandwiches, salads and sides for the festival.

Admission to the festival includes access to the entire living history museum – Adults )13yrs+)-$7, Youth (3-12yrs)-$5 and WRHS members, youth 2 or under and active military- Free.

Age group: Adults (14 and up; 11-13 with adult registratio)

Fee: $36 (materials included)
Registration closes: 7 days before class date
No walk-ins
Times: 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm and 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm

Take a shopping break and create with us! Made in Ohio Workshops take place in the heart of the festival each day. Fall Wreaths use natural and foraged items to weave into a wall, table or door decoration that can be adapted through the seasons. Weave a Wall Hanging from naturally dyed yarn from Hale Farm’s Dye Shop and incorporate beads, charms, natural items or other whimsical treasures to fit your style.

Workshops for ages 14- adult (11-13 with adult registra) are 60 minutes long. Please register in advance through the links provided.
**$36 fee  includes admission to the Made in Ohio Festival on the day of the workshop**
