Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math – STEM fields contributed greatly to Northeast Ohio's history of innovation, and our museum collections help us explore these themes.

  • Ages 3-5 will think about the buildings around us and how they were designed. Then, they’ll try to build something new!
  • Ages 6-8 will study amusement park rides, including the Euclid Beach Park Grand Carousel, to combine science and fun in ride designs.
  • Ages 9-12 will conduct science experiments about flight, learning to solve problems just like history’s greatest engineers!
  • Ages 13+ will focus on how vehicles, whether on land or in the air, move efficiently and effectively, creating their own models to test for speed and distance.

Program Admission rates:

  • Students (ages 3-18; pre-registration highly recommended): $9
  • Parents/Guardians: Free
  • Children ages 0-2: Free
  • Parking: $10 per car, flat rate - paid onsite at CHC before leaving.

Logistical Information:

  • All programs run from 10am-12pm on the program date.
  • Please arrive by 9:55am to check in so we may start on time.
  • Families may bring packed lunches to eat onsite after the program.
  • Admission to a Homeschool Field Trip Day includes admission to the museum for the rest of the day.
