Carousel Derby Day

You are invited to join the WRHS Museum Advisory Council for Carousel Derby Day at the Cleveland History Center! Pick your favorite horse from the Euclid Beach Park Grand Carousel for each of five races–the winning bet from each race will win a unique prize. Top prizes include: a behind-the-scenes tour for six of the WRHS Costume Collection, a lunch for six served in the Hay-McKinney Mansion dining room, and other surprises!
- Hors d’oeuvres sweet and savory, MAC Juleps and Derby Punch will be served during the races
- Enjoy vintage Derby fashions and hats presented by VIVA
- Meet the new MAC Curator of Costume & Textiles, Patty Edmonson as she shows of race-worthy hats from the WRHS collections
- Wear your best Derby hat! Prizes will be awarded for the most beautiful and most unusual hat
