Details

This exhibition presents WRHS’ charming collection of dolls, miniatures, and toys dating back to the 1830s. In some cases, dolls or objects will be displayed alongside life-sized fashion, while other vignettes will open a window into the secret (and tiny) world of dolls. Visitors will explore themes of play and childhood, and experience how dolls illicit core memories today. Special efforts have been made to feature dolls of various colors and backgrounds.

The exhibition opens in the Chisholm Halle Costume Wing on October 3, 2024 and will be open to the community for one year. It will be accompanied by a room for families to play and experience dolls hands-on.
