This first iteration of the African American Art/History Walk was made possible with support from: Western Reserve Historical Society, The HistoryMakers, #VoicesOfCLE Public Art Project, and Cleveland City Council. Jerome T. White is the artist.

The African American Art/History Walk is located at the Cleveland History Center along East 108th Street between East Boulevard and Magnolia Drive. The public is encouraged to visit the mural throughout June which is African American Music Appreciation Month and includes Flag Day and the Juneteenth Freedom Celebrations.

Highlights

Western Reserve Historical Society is the oldest cultural institution in Northeast Ohio, the region's largest American history research center, and one of the leading genealogical research centers in the nation.
