Hale Farm & Village is excited to announce the return of its annual Harvest Festival, taking place over two weekends on October 4-5 and October 11-12, from 10 AM to 4 PM each day. This family-friendly event offers a unique opportunity to experience the traditions, chores, and foods of 19th-century Northeast Ohio during the fall season.

Visitors of all ages will be able to participate in interactive activities across the historic village, providing hands-on experiences that showcase the hard work and preparations that took place during the autumn harvest.

Event highlights include:

  • A special visit from Johnny Appleseed, portrayed by renowned poet and educator Ray McNiece
  • Apple Cider and Apple Butter making
  • Themed seasonal games and activities for the whole family
  • A pumpkin patch for fall fun
  • Wagon rides for the family by Trail Light Farms

This is a wonderful opportunity for families to immerse themselves in the traditions of a 19th-century harvest while enjoying the beauty of fall at Hale Farm & Village.
