Join us Thursday, August 14, for Racers & Pacers Night at the Crawford!

We’ll have race cars and pace cars from the Crawford collection and a “Chat with Cat,” featuring Cat and David Kizer.

The Kizers recently donated their beautifully restored 1961 MG Midget race car to the Crawford, which Cat drove to a Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) Runoffs Championship in 1979. In doing so, Cat became the first woman to win the Runoffs. Cat’s racing career included a win at the Longest Day of Nelson Ledges (24 hour race), and she was the first woman to win a race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door, and include admission to the museum and the event, light appetizers, beer, wine and soft drinks.

Western Reserve Historical Society is the oldest cultural institution in Northeast Ohio, the region's largest American history research center, and one of the leading genealogical research centers in the nation.
