Please join us for our 2025 community-wide book discussion series on The Gentleman from Ohio.  Judge Ronald B. Adrine (Ret.) and Dr. Regennia N. Williams will serve as co-facilitators for the first discussion, which will focus on Congressman Stokes' life from his birth on February 23, 1925, to his swearing in as a freshman Congressman on January 3, 1969.  The 1PM - 2:30 PM discussion will take place at the Western Reserve Historical Society, 10825 East Boulevard,  on Saturday, April 5, 2025 --the 57th anniversary weekend of Dr. King's 1968 assassination.

Admission will be free to all WRHS members, individuals with valid museum guest passes, and anyone who brings a copy of the book (their own copy or a library copy) to the discussion with them.  Other museum visitors with paid admissions are also welcome to attend.

The "By the Book" discussion series is made possible in part with support from Cleveland City Council, Cuyahoga County Council, and the Western Reserve Historical Society.
