With Izabella Tabarovsky Senior fellow with the Z3 Institute for Jewish Priorities, research fellow at the London Center for the Study of Contemporary Antisemitism, ISGAP and the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs From the early propaganda posters to contemporary social media misinformation campaigns, Russia has played a crucial role in planting the seeds of antisemitism and anti-Zionism across the globe. This webinar will offer a historic overview of long-running Soviet policies and tactics as well as share how the Soviet Jewry movement overcame them.

This is a virtual webinar presented by the SOVIET JEWRY MOVEMENT ARCHIVES PROJECT.

"Antisemitism is not just prejudice, it is also a highly effective political tool, particularly in times of crisis. No one knows that better than people like Putin. - Izabella Tabarovsky From the propaganda posters of the early 1900s to disinformation campaigns on social media today, Russia has consistently spread antisemitic and anti-Zionist rhetoric across the globe. This webinar will delve into the history and strategies behind Russia's efforts to demonize Jewish communities and examine how the grassroots Soviet Jewry movement successfully countered the oppressive forces of Moscow, reshaping history."
