About the Event: Join us for a special presentation by Mary Contini Gordon, author of Family Oral History Across the World. This insightful book explores the process of preserving family histories, incorporating oral history standards and interviews from across six continents. Mary’s research features narratives from the Western Reserve Historical Society (WRHS) collections and interviews with local contributors. Open to the public. Seating is limited, so early registration is recommended.
Agenda: This event begins with a brief meeting of the Cleveland Italian Ancestry Organization (CIAO) from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by Mary's presentation from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. This is a unique opportunity to learn how to document and share your family's stories, no matter their cultural background.

About the Author: Mary Contini Gordon is an accomplished researcher and writer, whose work focuses on family history, oral traditions, and the ways we preserve our personal and cultural legacies. Her book, Family Oral History Across the World, features over 40 recorded interviews and offers readers tools for creating their own family history journey.
