Participants are encouraged to visit Dr. Hall’s website and his blog prior to the event, if they would like to review related articles on this topic before the talk.

Speaker Bio

Dr. Gregory Hall is in his 20th year of private practice in internal medicine with a keen specialization in African American health. His website, DrGregHall.com, contains a host of articles for African American patients addressing best practices in their care, from COVID-19 to salt sensitivity. He also hosts a podcast on Spotify entitled “Better Black Health” that was just launched. His practice spans the office, four nursing facilities, and St. Vincent Charity Medical Center. He holds a dual appointment as an associate professor in Internal Medicine and Integrative Medical Sciences at Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown and is an Assistant Clinical Professor at CWRU School of Medicine.

Dr. Hall is also in his 11th year on the Cuyahoga County Board of Health and was elected the President in January 2020. He served on the Ohio Commission for Minority Health for 16 years and was their chairman until 2018.

Finally, he has established the National Institute for African American Health, a non-profit that mentors pre-med and medical students in their studies, facilitates research initiatives in partnership with academic institutions, provides an online resource for consumer health education, and offers patient advocacy services.
