Industrial Cleveland - September 17, 2026

This September, we’ll learn about what is (or has been) made in Northeast Ohio, and how those industries have changed life in cities like Cleveland.

  • Ages 3-5 will think about what it’s like to live in a city, and what types of jobs people do in Cleveland’s major industries.

  • Ages 6-8, 9-12, and 13+ will learn about how cities grow and change over time, and how factories and industry affect the landscape and the people who live there.

Program Admission rates:

  • Students (ages 3-18; pre-registration highly recommended): $9
  • Parents/Guardians: Free
  • Children ages 0-2: Free
  • Parking: $10 per car, flat rate - paid onsite at CHC before leaving.

A Homeschool Field Trip Season Pass is available for 2026-2027 at $62. Click here to purchase through our online store. Purchasing a Season Pass guarantees your spot for all eight sessions over the course of the year.

Logistical Information:

  • All programs run from 10am-12pm on the program date.
  • Please arrive by 9:55am to check in so we may start on time.
  • Families may bring packed lunches to eat onsite after the program.
  • Admission to a Homeschool Field Trip Day includes admission to the museum for the rest of the day.
