World War I: Its Effects Globally, Nationally, and Locally
May 2, 2015 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Dr. John G. Grabowski, WRHS’ Senior Vice President & Krieger Mueller Historian, will be the featured speaker for this early spring class. During his presentation, participants will learn about what happened during the lives of their ancestors living at the time of WWI. Following the historical overview, the group will discuss how to find records for WWI relatives, including draft registrations, service records, and even naturalization papers for alien servicemen. Participants will then have the opportunity to do further research in the Library with the help of staff and volunteers.
