Seeing the Past Around You: Identifying Your Ancestor’s House

June 6, 2015 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Researching the history of a house is very similar to researching a family, except that in addition to documents the house itself can be used for clues. In this seminar, Dr. Amanda Epperson will share the basic steps for completing a house history and provide an introduction to American architectural history in order to gain insight into an ancestor’s house and the nation’s history.

In celebration of the Global Family Reunion event, the fee of $15 will be waived for the June 6, 2015 Institute Class.  Regular WRHS admission fee applies for non WRHS members attending the class. Registration is requested in advance.

Register online below or by emailing foxreinhardt@usa.net and paying admission cost at the door.
