Bad in Plaid- An a cappella club at Laurel School

Opens June 1, 2018 in the Chisholm Halle Costume Wing

Enjoy an off the rack preview with Patty Edmonson, Curator of Costumes & Textiles. Popularized for the masses by Queen Victoria, plaid connects to history, classic chic, prepsters, grunge, and the hipster known as the urban woodsman! This exhibition showcases Northeastern Ohio’s men, women and children who wear plaid, highlighting recognizable brands, pop culture, and the heritage behind it all.

Exhibit made possible through the generosity of Emma Lincoln.
