Kool-Aid Tie Dye Workshop

Join us for a unique dyeing experience! Learn about historical natural dye techniques, and how to apply the same ideas to creating dye from modern Kool-Aid powder. Participants will then use vibrant Kool-Aid colors to tie-dye their own project. Kool-Aid dyes produce a beautiful, non-toxic color that will stay colorfast for a prolonged time, though not as long as chemical dyes. This is a great beginner dye project that’s safe and fun for the whole family!
This workshop is an ongoing experience, and guests are welcome to drop in anytime between 11-2pm. Workshop tickets include use of all dyes and materials, including a HFV logo cotton tote to dye and take home!
Presale tickets are recommended, but if available tickets may be added on to general admission on the day of. Rain or shine event.
