Jocks, Jobs, and Careers

Do you love sports, but don’t have plans to become a professional athlete? Not to worry. At 11:00 am, join WRHS and expert Mike Myers, from the Pro Football Hall of Fame, for a presentation on “Careers in Sports”.

From noon to 1:00 pm, meet and greet with professionals from all walks of life in the sports industry. Learn about options in sports medicine, broadcasting, marketing, and more in the 1964: When Browns Town was Title Town exhibit. Hanford Dixon, former Cleveland Browns cornerback (1981-1989), will be on-site in the exhibit. Dixon spent his entire career with Browns, complete with three Pro Bowl appearances. Hear memories from the man who dubbed Cleveland fans “Dawg Pound” and have the chance to purchase his book, “Day of the Dawg: A Football Memoir.”

FREE with admission: $10 adults, $5 children 3-12. Group rates available for groups of 8 or more: $5 per student, $8 per adult.
