History on Tap | Rock and Roll on the Record

May 12, 2016 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

On May 12, hop back in time with History on Tap and relive the beginnings of Rock & Roll in Cleveland—a time of moondogs and muscle cars. This music-themed happy hour event will feature games, activities, and exclusive presentations designed by our education team and local partners in the music scene. Put on your dancing shoes and get ready to jive to some super retro beats. It’ll be fun, fun, fun (‘till our daddy takes the T-Bird away)!

Rock & Roll on the Record will feature exciting partners from the local music scene, including:

  • A record manufacturing demo from Gotta Groove Records
  • A vinyl trunk show featuring wares from Blue Arrow Records, My Mind’s Eye Records, Record Revolution, Music Saves, and more!
  • Special broadcasting by WIXY1260online.com

History on Tap happy hours will run the second Thursday of each month at the Cleveland History Center, 5:00 -8:00 pm.
