Come celebrate Cleveland’s spooky side at the Cleveland History Center! Join us for a Halloween happy hour–and bring your best urban legends with you. Learn about Franklin Castle, Bessie the Lake Erie Monster, Helltown, and more. Be sure to come in costume! A cash bar–enjoy beer, wine, and a caramel apple cocktail (or mocktail!)–will be available with light snacks for purchase–and of course, lots of candy!
Activities:
Grab a bag and trick-or-treat on the Street of Shops! Interact with our storytellers and learn about some local urban legends. Make sure you pay attention–use the legends you learn to complete a scavenger hunt and turn it in for a chance to win prizes!
Have you ever heard the urban legend of the Jack O’lantern? Make your own pumpkin candle holder and learn about the first Jack O’lantern, and decide for yourself if you believe the tale…

Non-members: $20
WRHS Members: $10
College Students (with student ID): $5
Buy tickets to both History on Tap | Haunted History at the Cleveland History Center AND All Hale’s Eve at Hale Farm and Village, and be entered into a drawing to win a WRHS membership (good for one year) and a special treat at All Hale’s Eve! Tickets to both events must be purchased by Oct. 20 to be eligible.
Must be 21 or older to purchase alcohol. Non-alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase.
