History on Tap is back for a second season! Join us for our fourth happy hour event of 2016 as we invite you to our Kickoff to the Campaign Season and Exhibition Opening of Power & Politics.
Guests will enjoy happy hour libations, light hors d’oeuvres, trivia, rarely-seen artifacts, photo ops, and hands-on activities.
At the height of the 2016 election season, the Cleveland History Center is proud to present Power & Politics, an exhibition and video series highlighting the significance of Cleveland and Northeast Ohio on presidential politics.
Using our vast collection of politically themed pieces dating back to the 18th century, the Power & Politics exhibition highlights political fashion statements, Ohio’s presidential conventions, the 1896 presidential campaign, and more.
A captivating experience opening July 14th, 2016 to the public, the Cleveland History Center complements the exhibition with a series of videos exploring the depth and rich history of Ohio politics and the birth of the modern political campaign available here.
