The festivities will begin at 1:00pm with the opening of Black History on Tap: My Corner of Cleveland.  This month, enjoy food, drinks, and entertainment while learning how our African-American community has shaped Northeast Ohio and beyond.  Admission to this event is FREE for instructors!  For more information about Black History on Tap: My Corner of Clevelandclick here.
At 1:30 pm, we will offer a  professional development session on curriculum enrichment and standards-based field experiences, based on our brand-new exhibit, Carl & Louis Stokes: Making History.  You will also receive the opportunity to learn more about educational programs at the Cleveland History Center and how our programming can be integrated into your lesson plans.
When the session concludes at 3:00pm, we encourage you to check out all that our museum has to offer!  Take part in Black History on Tap, peruse our museum galleries, and take a ride on the Euclid Beach Park Grand Carousel – all are included in your free admission to this professional development session!  Onsite parking is available to attendees at a flat rate of $5.
