Euclid Beach Park Day

This year we celebrate the 50 years since Euclid Beach Park closed.

Euclid Beach Park was one of the most prominent amusement parks in Cleveland, and the memories created there were so strong, stories about the park live on today. Though Euclid Beach Park closed its gates in 1969, generations of Clevelanders create new memories every day when riding on the Euclid Beach Park Grand Carousel here at the Cleveland History Center.

Audiences of all ages are invited to enjoy fun, family activities including unlimited rides on the Euclid Beach Park Grand Carousel, lawn games and so much more.

 

Buy your tickets in advance and save! Discounted tickets will only be available until June 1, 2019.

 

Adult: $10 ($8 in advance if purchased by 6/1/19)

Senior: $9 ($7 in advance if purchased by 6/1/19)

Child: $5 ($3 in advance if purchased by 6/1/19)

Euclid Beach Park Grand Carousel Birthday Bash

Come celebrate the 109th birthday of the crown jewel of Euclid Beach Park!

May 19, 1910 was the day that opened the season for Euclid Beach Park. It was also the first time that attendees would set their sights on, and ride, the magnificent Euclid Beach Park Grand Carousel.

Installed by Philadelphia Toboggan Company (PTC), this new, larger, more grand carousel had four rows of horses, three inside rows of “jumpers” and an outside row of nearly life size stationary horses. The initial purchase price for this carousel: $7,734.04

 

Guests will enjoy activities, cookies and milk, as well as unlimited rides on the Grand Carousel.

  • Be sure to also help us decorate our beloved Scotty Horse
