The Research Library

A part of the Western Reserve Historical Society, housed within the History Center in University Circle, the WRHS Research Library is an amazing resource for the academic and for the family history researcher. Collections spanning national and local history and genealogy are available Thursday - Saturday in person or online.

Planning your visit
The WRHS welcomes individual researchers and groups. Please contact the Reference Division staff in advance of any group visit. Library tours are available upon request. Call 216-721-5722 x1509. Use the menu on the right side of the page for hours, admission and directions.

Sunday - Wednesday: Closed 
Thursday - Saturday: Open 10:00 am to 5:00 pm  

Closed: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
