The Hale Farm & Village Café
The Café serves food that is historically inspired, regionally sourced, and sustainably minded.  Located in the Gatehouse Visitor Center, the Café serves a variety of homemade, seasonal foods, using produce, herbs, and other ingredients from our own gardens and local farms.  Homemade pulled BBQ chicken and pork sandwiches, meatloaf, and fruit pies are just a sampling of what’s in store when you dine at the Café.  Menu changes with the seasons.  Beer and wine are also available.

Café Sustainability
We serve daily on compostable and plant-based products, from plates and cups to cutlery.  Shopping locally and frequently keeps food scrap to a minimum.  Food scrap produced is captured both for compost and to feed museum livestock.  We work with Summit Akron Solid Waste Management Authority (SASWMA) and River Valley Paper Company, to recycle all plastic, metal, glass, and paper waste materials.
