ENJOY CANDLELIGHT TOURS AT WRHS THIS HOLIDAY SEASON

CLEVELAND, OH – The Western Reserve Historical Society’s Hay-McKinney Mansion makes its holiday debut with Candlelight Tours this December.  Take a tour of the historic mansion, decorated in holiday grandeur from various decades of the 20th century with the following tour:
 
Experience Candlelight Tours of Christmas Traditions in the Hay-McKinney Mansion this holiday season. Guests can travel through time to Christmas in past decades in the beautiful historic Hay Mansion.  View antique ornaments on display and recreated trees from the past. Traditional refreshments are included in the tour and are provided by the Museum Advisory Council.  Candlelight Tours dates are:
 
Wednesday, December 3, 2008 - 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday, December 10, 2008 - 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday, December 17, 2008, 7:00 p.m.
 
There is a $5.00 program fee for the Candlelight Tours, in addition to general admission.  Reservations for Candlelight Tours are required. Reservations can be made by calling 216-721-5722 ext. 320.
 
Admission to the Museum is $8.50 for adults, $7.50 for seniors, and $5 for children
and students.  Members are free.  With admission, visitors gain access to The Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum, The History Museum, The Chisholm Halle Costume Wing, the Hay-McKinney Mansion and the WRHS Library.
 
Special programming and admission rates are offered Wednesday evenings. Admission to the museum after 5pm is only $5 for all and parking is free on Wednesday nights.  Most programs are free with museum admission.
