History Day
National History Day in Ohio is an exciting co-curricular program for students in grades 4-5 and 6-12. Each year, students conduct research based on this year’s theme “Individual in History: Actions & Legacies” to create historical papers, original performances, media documentaries, creative exhibits and imaginative websites as a result of their research.
The National History Day in Ohio program is designed to enhance the instruction of history education. Students in 4-5 and 6-12 grade can complete exhibits, papers, performances, documentaries or websites (4-5 grade are exhibits and performances only). The program can be integrated into the classroom in a number of ways:
