The vault, or memory room, is located within the Memorial Library. Once the depository for the President's papers, it contains relics from the funeral, like the waxed funeral wreath sent by Queen Victoria. A safe, once used by the President, has been installed inside this little fireproof room and a delightful portrait of the house is painted on the safe's door.
