This room has been interpreted to the period 1885-1904, as the bedroom of Irvin Garfield (1870-1951) and Abram Garfield (1872-1958), the youngest of the Garfield children. The boys were away at college from 1885-1896 and working in Boston and Cleveland, respectively, thereafter. This room could have been occupied by them when home from boarding school for Christmas or summer vacations. The furnishings therefore include objects associated with the boys during their adolescent years at Lawnfield.

The wallpaper is a pink-beige leaf pattern and the lighting is supplied by the original three-arm, wall-mounted gasolier and two table lamps.
